Puppies!!

September 2, 2009- One hour after returning home from three weeks in Europe, Ellie decided to have six puppies! The entire neighborhood was over watching Ellie give birth to 6 black and white border Collies. She had three boys and three girls! They are so CUTE! I have sold two girls! Sad so see them go but they so far look like they are going to wonderful families!

Last Five Months

Ok. So here is an Update of what I have been doing. Short and sweet I know! But obviously blogging isn't my thang!

Went to Baltimore to Visit my Roomies from USU Kara and Brittany,

My Cute Niece Kierra Page Was baptised in Burley.

I ran/walked The Race for the Cure for Denise's friend Lori who died from Breast Cancer. (Left to right, Chris Wallace, Ann Marie Wallace, Wade Wallace, Denise Graham Tippets, and Tiffany Graham)

Saw the Giant Panda at the National zoo in DC

Went on a Cruise to Cabo San lucas, Puerto Vallerta, and Mazatlan.

Went to see BODY WORLD (plastisized humans) with Matt Painter (I dated him for two months).

Was introduced to the neti pot nasal irrigation by Matt.

And finally we went to a Jazz game with Cynthia who is a San Antonio Spurs fan and where I was persuaded to bet on who would win by Matt after he cheated and looked at the odds in Vegas!! (left to right, Coby Mathews, Cynthia Arocha, Tiffany Graham, and Matt Painter).

Lets see, there are also picture I can't find from attending WICKED Broadway play, Went to SEVERAL Sun Dance films, visited Sarah and Dan in Rexburg where we went tubing, and I could go on and on.. but I won't. So as you notice, which this pictures are only the beginning, I haven't been sitting on my rump by any means! Hope all is well with everyone!

SNOW SHOEING

Snow Shoeing on Kenney Creek Trail east of Bountiful on New Years day. It was beautiful and amazing. I absolutely enjoy being outside, in the mountains, and in nature. Probably because I am away from everyone and everything. There is nothing like being able to Soak in the soldarity. Ahhhh... honestly.. who needs a massage therapasit when you can do this???(coo cooh)??

So.....Our group really had no idea where we were going... group being myself, Steve Merrigan and Ann Marie... oh.. and don't forget my two dogs, Mudflap (in black) and Ellie (White and Red). My dogs were in HEAVEN being outside and running free up and down the mountain side..... anyway... Lucky for us, Steve had brought along his gps unit incase we were in need of finding our way home. We set a wave point on the gps unit for the car. Once we began to climb and hike up the mountains, we realized we had over dressed and our body thermostats where beginning to over heat. So we began to shed clothing and left them along the trail we were blazing. oh...and we would create additional wave points on the gps units to retrieve our clothing. LOL!! We are so stupid! But it was totally fun trying to find our clothing. When we finally reached our destination, Steve had also brought along a little burner (WHAT A BOY SCOUT) and I brought hot chocolate and smores to cook. We took the snow, boiled it, and enjoyed a nice cup of HOT cocoa at the top. It was fun. We had also intended on tubing down the side of the mountain, but the day grew short. It didn't matter much, we all took our turns at sliding and falling down the mountain side unintentionally.

THRILLER!!

Over Halloween, I was invited to attend a production called THRILLER at Kingsbury Hall in Salt Lake. It was choreographed and performed by an amazing dance company. They dance to the Michael Jackson Thriller song where there were zombies, fog, and the famous dance along with other humorous acts and numbers associated with scary Halloween. I laughed and enjoyed it immensely. The photos are of the zombies that were roaming throughout the theater scaring people. They would get into your face and never speak a word to you. One zombie followed a guest around the entire theater while she screamed. It was very entertaining. Make sure you look at their makeup. Its fantastic!

THE BROADWAY PLAY CATS!!!

The Broadway play CATS was AMAZING!!! I wasn't so sure I would enjoy the story line and content, but I LOVED it! The performers were so amazing. Their costumes and makeup were extremely intricate along with the way they danced and held their bodies in certain positions acting like the feline species. I highly recommend it. Our tickets were the nineth row from the stage and it was worth every dollar!!!! We dressed up in our heels and jeans and headed downtown Salt Lake to the Capital Theatre. So fun!!

Living Room HIke September 3rd

As the long summer days have passed and the dreaded winter months begin to loom upon us, Ann Marino and I decided we MUST utilize the remaining warm fall days to enjoy the sweet outdoors. Every Wednesday night after work, we decided to hike around the Greater Salt Lake Area. The first hike was chosen by myself and is called the Living Room Hike or the Flintstones Living Room. Neither Ann or I had been on the hike, so it was yet another adventure for the two of us. The hike was located behind Red Butte gardens in Salt Lake and there were people all over running, biking, hiking, and walking their dogs. There was not signage or one desginated trail that directed us where to go, so we asked people along the way. Most of them were very gracious and directed us to the hike. Since we had never been on the hike, several times we thought we were going the wrong way. So the last bit of the hike, we blazed our trail straight up the mountain, VERY STEEP TERRAIN, and we made it! I loved it. Below the photos from our hike!!

Dinner In Lava Hot Springs!

During the Labor Day weekend, my friend Kade and I traveled from Logan to Lava Hot Springs where we met up with the most awesome couple who have KIDS and STILL play with us Single folk! Nick and Tonya Charles along with their wee little ones, Emma and Ashlin and Tonya's Sister and family joined us for a fun filled day of diving off of platforms, diving boards, slides and just having good old fun with the little ones in the kiddy pool! It was a fun and relaxing day. After a day of full sun and no sun burns, our stomachs ached with hunger. The local restaurant we chose was an Indian type resteraunt. Not the native american kind, but the India kind! It was yummy! But the wee lasses didn't quite make it through dinner! As the photos illustrates, Emma laid her head down on the table and went to sleep! It was a good day!! Make sure you notice, Ashlin is still wide eyed and bushy tailed during dinner. She was tough that day!!
